Measurement

I’m converting health examination data from Korean National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) database into measurement table of OMOP CDM. The problem is that we don’t know the exact normal values of examination in NHIS.
So we’ll leave range_low and range_how blank.

But, since this examination is focused on general population in Korea, I think we can set some standard for the normal rage (such as 95% of total value). Is there anybody who have any suggestion or experience about this?

Thanks,
Jaehyeong Cho

@Jaehyeong_Cho:

It’s probably not that simple, because the distribution of values doesn’t follow a distinct pattern. There are folks who derive those normal values, like these: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17867994.

Would be nice to have that availabe to the community here, if you think this is something you want to work on.
