Inconsistent ICD10 versions in Athena Search vs. Download

The version of ICD10 that is available from Athena download appears to date to 2016, and ICD10-CM dates to 2017. However, I am seeing codes in Athena search that are not available in the downloaded vocabulary files, like “I16.9”. Can anyone enlighten me as to why the two versions are different, and if there is a way to get the more recent ICD10 content in a downloaded version of the Athena files?

Thanks in advance

Hello, @SrikanthX,
I see the 37200495 concept (code=I16.9) which is from ICD10CM vocabulary. If I download the ICD10CM vocabulary I can found concept with id=37200495 (valid from = 2017-04-28).
It seems that the data is consistent.
Please clarify if I do not understand you correctly.

BR, Maria

ICD10-CM - US version

ICD10 - WHO version

looks similar but different.

Please don’t mix them up:)

Yes, I see that now. I must be getting old, not sure why I wasn’t finding these codes in the downloaded files. Thanks and apologies for the false alarm @maria.pozhidaeva. And @Dymshyts, I made that mistake too.
