Cohort Characterization - denominators for subgroups

Posting a Git issue here for visibility: https://github.com/OHDSI/Atlas/issues/2420

When using cohort event date ranges as subgroups (Jan-Apr, May-July, etc), the percents are using the total cohort as the denominator rather than the subgroup patients.

I would think that subgroup percent rather than percent of total would be most useful in this view. Where in the code base are these percents calculated?

Ok, we’ll take a look. I assume you mean that if you have a sub group that is 50% of the overall cohort, and then there’s a feature that is in 100% of the subgroup, the subgroup’s statistic shows ‘50%’ because those 100% only constitute 50% of the overall cohort?

Right – I would want to see the 100% listed since 100% of the subgroup has the feature.
