CDM Github Development Branch

There is now a development branch available on the CDM github that contains DDLs for tables that have been accepted into a future release of the CDM. Please use these at your discretion as they are subject to minor changes upon formal release.

These DDLs are only available in the Sql Server dialect, though the keys, indices and constraints are included, as well as the anticipated wiki page for the new table.

I think the github restrictions on this dev branch could perhaps be adjusted.

Any contribution requires forking, PR and review by admin. I see no difference with master branch. If dev is same as master, we should forget dev.

I don’t think you’ll ever get around making contributions outside of PRs and review, so I think that’s a procedure that isn’t going to change. From my understanding, the CommonDataModel repository is being structured more ‘consumer friendly’ in that people getting directed to the repository URL get the current release presented instead of ‘works in progress’ which is on the develop branch. This means, however, that extra effort needs to keep master up to date with Dev (which is not how other repositories do it, but again, this is consumer focused, not developer focused).
