I hope to hear your opinion on the next question:
In the source table, which supposed to summarize inpatient stay, there are diagnoses and procedures without date of service. We have just date of admission and discharge date. So, we don’t know when diagnose was recorded and when the procedure was performed, only the date when a patient was admitted to a hospital. In this case, can we populate event tables with the diagnoses and procedures using admission date of a patient as condition_start_date, procedure_date and etc?
P.s. date difference between discharge date and admission date can vary from 0 to 400 days.
