Additional Exposure Types

In coding our food allergy data dictionary I find myself needing to code for types of allergen exposure that do not seem to be supported by OMOP:

Assault : this would indicate unwilling exposure to an allergen by a third party
Intentional - self challenge : indicating an intentional decision to try a known allergen
Intentional - clinical procedure : known allergen being tried under practitioner’s supervision - Oral Immunotherapy or Ingestion Challenge

In theory these would work similar to the Accidental Exposure Concept - 4115598

Is there a way of handling these, or is this something not supported by OMOP?

This is a new use case. You’d have to find something like that in SNOMED. Or we create new concepts, or convince SNOMED to add.
