We will be doing incremental load after historical when we role out OMOP to our organization. I have been told UC Denver is doing an incremental load so maybe someone from their team can answer my question or any team that added custom columns to their OMOP tables. When adding custom columns to the OMOP model, have the OHDSI tools like Atlas, Achilles, etc. throwing errors with the additional columns?
No issues, tho instead of modifying a core table, I’d recommend adding tables into a separate custom schema that you can link records from your CDM tables out to your extended tables. Adding a column is easier, but it’s a question of pragmatism vs purity.
Yes, UC Denver is doing incremental loads. We have added custom columns and custom tables to the CDM schema. We are not using any tools, yet!
